A note from our HOA President:
After the past couple of summers, we all look at the lawns and scratch our head – should we try to revive what lived through a mega drought? Should we replant? Without a crystal ball, I am not able to say go for it given the drought-stricken lakes are still in need of rain to fill them back up. What I can say, is I hope you believe the gate entry has been improved. I just received notice on Friday the lights for the entry have come in and we hope to have those installed this next week. With a little luck, the iron panels on each side of the drive-thru gates will be installed and the fountains will hopefully be working soon now that the water utility has given the go ahead to allow the HOA to operate the 2 fountains at our immediate entry. Mark Wells has been gracious enough to work on the refinishing of our “Gardens” sign at the front island and it is already looking better. Thank you, Mark. We will also have a couple of our residents working on some weed control until we have contracted with a maintenance company. Following the upcoming HOA Board meeting on the 11th, that regular maintenance should start in the next couple of weeks.
I was told just this past week by an “outsider” that the entry improvement shows we, as Garden property owners, now care about our community. I assured him we always cared and we hope to continue to improve our subdivision. We have had to delay our mail box plans although we still are working on trying to solve some challenges on that project.
As we keep doing our rain dance, I just wanted to say thanks to all who are working to improve our properties. Remember also, lot mowing/clean-up must be completed by April 30th or the HOA will have the lot mowed and charge it back to you through our AMS billing.
Thanks again to all.
